How to Manifest Desires in 4 Easy Steps, Pt. 1

When you use power of subconscious to manifest desires, what do you usually do? You might state or write affirmations, do a visualization meditation, create a vision board or a mind movie, give a cosmic order, or maybe you just pray the old-fashioned way. These are all common methods of manifesting and are well and good. But the question is, do you usually get what you desire?

Many of you have an uneven track record in creating reality. Sometimes you manifest desires readily, while other times they resist all your efforts to make them happen. This leaves you feeling deeply frustrated and uncertain. Today, we will examine an important element for success in manifesting: the consciousness of having.

When something is absent from your life that you wish you had, it is natural to feel a desire for that thing — you want it. But have you noticed that when you already have something, you don’t desire it, you don’t want it, and you don’t need to do any reality creation methods to manifest it? This might seem obvious to you, but stay with me and an important distinction will be made clear.

It is impossible to have something and desire to have it at the same time! For example, if you would like a new car but are still driving your old one, you will desire and want a new car. When you get the new car, you will likely enjoy it and appreciate having it, but you won’t desire it or want it because you already have it.

Have you noticed that whenever you attempt to manifest desires, you enhance feelings of lack because you have inadvertently affirmed that something is missing? And what does that accomplish? It creates more lack and more feelings of desire and want. Why? Because your subconscious mind is like a mirror which reflects back to you, via external reality, your deepest level of belief, not your surface level affirmations. Your true belief is that you don’t have it or else you would have it and wouldn’t be trying to get it.

The Law of Attraction says that you get what you focus on and what you focus on expands. This is one of the reasons our attempts to manifest desires are often unsuccessful — we are using power of subconscious to focus on and expand the wrong thing.

Your subconscious mind is not like one of Santa’s elves, rushing around to fulfill your desires. Instead, it makes your reality a mirror of your true beliefs about reality. It also mirrors your surface desires and wants by giving you more reasons to desire and want. In other words, feelings of desire and want create lack, not abundance!

To manifest desires you must activate the consciousness of having. You must maintain the awareness and emotions of already having what you do not already have. “But how can I possibly do this?” you ask. “It’s like juggling three balls while trying to balance an umbrella on my nose!”

The enigma of having without having is resolved by two factors: sustaining a certain mental position and a certain energetic position. In Part 2 of this article I will look at these positions in detail and show you how to implement them to manifest desires in 4 easy steps.
